I lately bought this for my father, we function on a cabin in Canada, utilizing a generator, and we wanted lightweight as we haul items in and out by boat. Also, the generator is not that substantial (3000 watt) and it handled this compressor without having any predicament. I previously purchased an oil-lubed compressor for myself (Computer, 2.5 hp, dual tank, model CPLDC2540S), since I wanted some thing fairly. I was surprised when I turned this compressor on, as it seems quieter than mine It also weighs less than mine!
There is 1 minute of assembly requiring a phillips screwdriver, but it was relatively very easy (attach the motor to the tank, though the hose is currently attached).
I consider it is a good decide to buy from of a superior brand.

Ordered this compressor for odd-jobs and simple 'inflation' duty around the residence. Automobile tires, bike tires, and air mattresses... Especially handy to have around. Unit is Especially light, significantly alot more quick to transport than I was expecting. Loud compared to my old 20gallon oiled compressor unit, but not unbearable.
Takes about 2 minutes from empty to complete pressure cutoff. Really content with the excellent of the construction, clean hunting unit and the 2 air outlets are a definite plus.
No hose is included with this kit, contrary to the attached image. Improved off going with the base kit and acquiring nicer accessory products than shopping for the complete kit and paying a premium for 25ft of hose and a couple of low-cost bits.

I broke the compressor in according to the facts I read web based (Run 15mins with the drain valve open to prevent pressure build up). So far it is nevertheless working fine for me.
1 of my Most significant complaints, and the reason I've dropped a star off the evaluation is the fact that the Hose Connections (two of them, which is great feature at this value) are attached straight to the gauge panel. The unfortunate component about this is that if the hose gets pulled, the complete gauge panel will rotate on the threaded air output from the tank. So far, it's happened to me about three-four times and it hasn't triggered a predicament-- but I'd certainly have to reconsider this for a medium duty environment. It is only a matter of time prior to it begins to leak.
2nd-- The compressor, for it is size, is just too LOUD. It's so loud and vibrates so a lot, that on any smooth surface (Concrete, Wood Floor) it'll actually vibrate the entire unit in a circular motion. Not a enormous deal if you're not operating in a tight area, but it's annoying to continually have to monitor the compressors position in my shop and pull it away from the wall. It does have thick rubber feat, but they just can't compensate.
I can not suggest it as complete-heartedly as I did prior to. For 150 dollars, I'd recommend saving a couple of a great deal more dollars and putting it toward a much better quality/capacity unit.
